Dianne MinesDianne holds a BS in Education from Auburn University and a MS in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University. She has also studied at several institutions to enhance her technical and programming skills. Dianne's exposure to graphics and printing began with her work with VariSystems and Key Corporation where she wrote programs to simulate photo typesetting equipment and was involved with early desk top publishing endeavors. She also founded North Georgia Computer Professionals, a small enterprise that specialized in pre-press hardware and software sales as well as training. Although Dianne has worked for such companies as Lockheed, Scientific Games and World Span as a programmer analyst, her work with the Georgia Hospital Association enabled her to expand her knowledge of database programming. After returning to school to upgrade some skill sets, Dianne realized how much she missed being in a classroom. This resulted in her pursuit of her Master's degree and her teaching post-secondary classes at area community and technical colleges. She currently teaches introduction to computer classes at Georgia Highlands College. Dianne is grateful for the opportunity to work with her mother in this project. She hopes you enjoy the results. |
